The beauty of birth

Parents often say they can see parts of themselves in their newborn child. Especially if the newborn is tightly wrapped in aluminum foil. (Shiny side out.)

With all due respect, Vali, I don't think you're at the point with the blog yet where you can just take Sundays off. At least give us a heads-up, or if it's not too much to ask, an e-nod. To your credit, I just asked my parents about giving birth to me, and yes, I was tightly wrapped in aluminum foil as you surmised. Thanks for a terrible Sunday.

Is anyone else really glad that blogs didn't exist when they were ten or so, because they probably would have had a blog in which they talked about Civil War battles, Star Trek: TNG, the Moby classic book adaptations, and World War II movies?

See if you can guess which Vali's View regular commentator this is.
